About the treatment
The ZO Ossential Stimulator Peel is often referred to as a “lunch time peel” or “red carpet peel” as there is little or no downtime, redness or peeling afterwards, just a subtle glow. Treating all skin types safely ZO Stimulator Peel is a highly effective superficial skin peel for many signs of skin ageing such as fine lines and wrinkles, superficial pigmentation, mild acne, congestion, age spots, pigmentation, uneven skin texture and enlarged pores. This treatment uses 3 effective exfoliating ingredients together: salicylic, lactic and citric acid to remove dead skin cells and superficial imperfections revealing brighter skin underneath.

What is a skin peel?
A skin peel is a skin resurfacing treatment designed to improve and enhance the quality and appearance of the skin. Sometimes called a chemical peel, a skin peel is a process of chemically exfoliating the skin by breaking down the intercellular glue that holds together dead skin cells and in increasing cell turnover speeding up the process of new skin to the surface at a faster rate. As we age our skin cell turnover diminishes or slows down, a skin peel is the perfect solution to speed up this process and a great way to achieve healthy looking skin. Skin peels are a widely chosen treatment due to their effectiveness and minimum recovery time. People often panic at the thought of a “Skin Peel” thinking that their skin will flake and shed this is not the case for the Stimulator Peel, it will simply give a healthy glow and speed up cell turnover.

A course of 4-6 ZO Stimulator Skin Peels are recommended at 2-4-week intervals for optimum results.
What preparation is required prior to treatment?
Ideally book your skin consultation at the clinic prior to your treatment. However, the ZO Stimulator Skin Peel does not require a pre-treatment product program, however it can beneficial to exfoliate the skin using an active cleanser 2-4 weeks prior to your treatment to achieve better penetration of active ingredients and optimise treatment results.
How long is the recovery time?
There is minimal recovery to no recovery time associated with ZO Stimulator Skin Peel however some clients may experience a light exfoliation over the first few days revealing a fresher, radiant glow.
Does the treatment hurt?
You may experience a warm/tingling sensation when the peel solution is initially applied which will subside within a few minutes.
